Missing

Missing my family.  And I'm feeling quite sappy about them right now!

I miss my family, as in - the family I was raised in, and I miss my family, as in - the family I married into.  Both of which are so near and dear to me.  I love my family and Tim's family SO much - I feel so lucky/blessed/whatever you want to call it (I have some issues with those words, but that is for another time and place) to have such a wonderful and loving family.  I miss them all - and I can't believe my oldest nephew and niece are now 12 and almost 10... and I feel like I've missed their whole lives practically (along with all the rest)!  :(

And I feel so lucky/blessed/etc to have such an amazing and supportive family that I've married into - it doesn't even feel right to call them "Tim's family" or "the family I married into" or "in-laws"... they are so very much my family, and I miss them terribly too!  I couldn't have asked for a better family on both sides.

So, with love in my heart for both sides of my family, neither of which are geographically close enough for my comfort level, I leave you with some pictures of our visit to see our littlest niece (the nieces/nephews now range from 12 years to not even 12 days... crazy how families grow so quickly before you even realize it!)

Presenting the newest member of the Proffitt family, little miss Roonie Bella:
Proud mama  :)

Love this baby already!!

Aww, Uncle Tim - so sweet!
I LOVE this picture :)

Proud daddy - we had to steal her from him just to hold her for a few minutes, hehe  ;)
...sigh.  Love them.  :)

Tim really shouldn't leave me home alone with a box of wine in the fridge...

Sweet baby! I just got to spend the day with my nephew, Parker. I only see him every few weekends and that's still not enough for me so I can't imagine what it must be like for you.

Saw pictures of your run -- you look incredible! Congratulations on finishing the run.

Are you coming to Oklahoma any time soon to visit all those people you love (and maybe a few friends along the way -- wink, wink).
